Dublin Bus’ Ghostbus Tour is operating at 8pm from Monday to Thursday and 7.30pm and 9.30pm on Friday and Saturday until the 22^nd December. To further celebrate the festive season, anyone who books online will receive a 20% discount.

The tour also visits the Crypt at Christ Church Cathedral and St. Audeon’s and the Forty Steps which is haunted by Darkey Kelly; an 18^th Century Madame whose ghost is said to wander up and down the steps.

Dublin Bus launched the Ghostbus Tour in 1998 and it has been spreading the spook since then. The tour is ideally suited to private parties. The Moving Crib is like an expanded Nativity Play going back to Adam and Eve and finishing after the crib scene with the young Jesus teaching the Doctors in the Temple. There are over 100 figures in the Crib arranged in 14 different tableaux. They cover various episodes of the Old and New Testament. The figures themselves are about a metre high, moulded in papier-mache and dressed in miniature clothes. Concealed motors control the movements of the arms, head and legs. All of these figures, motors, clothing etc. come from a world famous firm in Germany.
