DublinatChristmas.ie called on people far and wide to dig out their cheesiest Christmas jumper and to join them for the Geansai Nollag challenge which was held at 4pm on O’Connell Street on November the 25th. It’s aim was to set a new world record for the most number of Christmas jumpers worn  in the same place at the same time and all of this was in aid of Foróige.

Last year a record number of 583 Geansaí wearers attended the celebration and this year, we’re convinced due to the torrential rain,  341 braved the weather and lifted our spirits!! We may not have broken the world record this year but fun was definitely had and we will look to smash it in 2013!! The weather will not beat us 2 years in a row!
